Nicole (Nicky) Renee Boettcher age 45 of Black River Falls WI passed away June 18, 2019 in her home.

Services will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Blair Lutheran Church, 419 Urberg Street,

Blair with Vicar Paul Sannerud officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to

7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, 128 S. Hoffman St., Hixton and again on Wednesday at the

church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, rural Taylor.

Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nancy Ann (Schliek) Pitman, age 82, of Tomah and formerly of White Bear Lake, MN and Casa Grande, AZ, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Liberty Village in Tomah, WI.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019, 4:00 p.m., at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 4285 US Hwy 12, Warrens, WI. Pastor Kory Janneke will officiate. There will be no visitation held prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Touch or St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Warrens. Mary “Kathy” Kay Brown Langlois, 68, of Black River Falls, WI passed away on June 17, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI.

Memorial Services will be held on June 29, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Buswell Funeral Home, 106 S. Second Street, Black River Falls, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Roger Vaughn Skrede, 59, of Cashton, WI, died Sunday, June16, 2019, at his home.

A Celebration of Roger’s life will be Saturday, June 22, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Margaret Magdalene Schlesser, 78, of Arcadia, passed away on Thursday, June 13,
2019, at St. Anne’s of Winona, under the care of Winona Health Hospice.


Margaret was born on May 28, 1941, in Winona to Frank and Josephine (Jaskola)
Grulkowski. After graduating from high school, Margaret married Alfred Schlesser
at the Cathedral of Sacred Heart in Winona on July 9, 1966. Together the couple
maintained a dairy farm while raising their family in Glencoe. Margaret was
deeply devoted to her faith and her family, and especially enjoyed spending time
with her grandchildren. She also found enjoyment in crocheting and feeding and
watching birds. Margaret was proud to have learned to fly an airplane; obtaining
her pilot’s license and flying a solo flight. She was a member of Holy Family
Parish, Holy Family PCCW, and the Glencoe Homemaker’s Club.
