Kim Marie Suchla, 54, of Independence, died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Gundersen Tri-County Care Center in Whitehall.


Kim was born May 19, 1964 in Whitehall to Ernie and Betty (Zilla) Suchla.
Kim loved to spend time with her family and shopping. She was a customer service representative at Ashley Furniture Industries for 17 years and a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence.
Kim is survived by the love of her life and fiancé, Brad Johnson of Independence; daughter, Barbara Jean Suchla of Indpendence; mother, Betty Suchla of Independence; three brothers, Ken (Margaret) Suchla of Independence, Bill (Rachael Ashley) Suchla of Independence and Ted (Healther Wiltse) Suchla of Coon Valley, Wis.; sister, Betsy Suchla-Lewis of Rodeo, Calif.; brother-in-law, Bruce Brandenburg of Independence; sister-in-law, Patty Suchla of Cudahy; many beloved nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews that she adored.
She was preceded in death by her father; brothers, Richard, Steven, Daniel; sisters, Jean Suchla and Barbara Brandenburg.

John “Jack” Warsaw, 89 of Kendall, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2019 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tomah.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 301 Spring Street, Kendall. Father Clayton will officiate. Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery with military honors by the William J Schriver American Legion Post #309. A Rosary will be held on Tues at the church at 4:00 PM with a visitation to follow until 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are again invited for a time of visitation on Weds. at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Mary Margaret (Davis) Manke, 92, of Bangor, died Saturday, February 09, 2019 at the Morrow Memorial Home, Sparta.


A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bangor, with Reverend Roy Hefti officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bangor.

Visitation for Mary will be at the church on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Online condolences may be offered to the Manke family at www.schanhoferfh.com.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Morrow Home and Gundersen Health System for their care and compassion.

Donald R. McKenzie, 92 of Tomah, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Tomah.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, 1:00 P.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah. Pastor Travis Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Harold L. Tomter, age 95, of Whitehall, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Peace Lutheran of Pigeon Falls in Pigeon Falls.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
