Gov. Scott Walker on Monday appointed Black River Falls City Attorney Daniel Diehn to serve as Jackson County district attorney.

Diehn fills a vacancy created by the death of Gerald Fox.

“Diehn is a distinguished attorney with a wide range of professional experience and a strong commitment to community service,” Walker stated. “He has demonstrated the skills, character, and commitment to justice to serve the citizens of Jackson County well.”

Diehn owns Daniel S. Diehn S.C., where he has practiced since 1996 in civil and criminal litigation, family law, real estate, probate, contract and municipal law.
