Grace E. Beltz, 73 of Tomah, went home to her Savior and Lord, on Friday March 31, 2017 at the Serenity House in Tomah.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4285 U.S. Hwy 12, Town of Kirby. Pastor Phillip M. Enderle will officiate. Burial will be in the Warrens-Mills Cemetery, Warrens.

Ronald (Rammy) A Ramquist, 76, of Hixton, passed away March 29, 2017 at his home after a long battle of cancer with his family by his side.

Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Mary Ann Bowman officiating.

Friends may call 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the church.

Private burial services will be held at a later date. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at Beloit Horseshoe Club.

John Arthur Brockman, 75, of Sparta, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center, Sparta.


A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, with Elder James Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Big Creek Union Cemetery, rural Sparta.

Duane Arlen “Red” Johnson, 82, of Brice Prairie, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in his home.

He was born on August 8, 1934 in La Crosse to Theodore and Emma (Quadzinski) Johnson. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Logan High School in 1952. Duane served with the US Army from 1955 – 1957 as a staff sergeant in France. He also served for 10 years with the Army Reserves. Duane married Janis Deno on October 25, 1957 in Little Shamrock Union Church. He had worked at Nelson’s Men’s Wear on the Northside for 32 years. He then worked at Foxmeyer Drug, formerly McKesson Drug, until his retirement. After retirement Duane bagged groceries at the Onalaska Festival Foods until he was 80. Duane was a founding member of the Brice Prairie First Responders, a charter member of the Brice Prairie Lion’s Club, a member of the Holmen American Legion Post 284, and a longtime member of St.

Bruce Sanders, 33, of Sparta, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home.


A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, with Jef Skinner officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the funeral home.
