Eunice B. Egeness, age 101, died on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in the Gundersen Tri-County Care Center in Whitehall.

Keith K. Hamilton, age 91, of Blair, died on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the Grand View Care Center in Blair.

Clarice(Pronschinske) Wendland, 88, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2017 at the Onalaska Care Center.

Clarice was born in the Town of Glencoe on January 9, 1929 to Albert and Lu (George) Pronschinske. She grew up on the family farm in rural Arcadia and was a graduate of the Acadia High School in 1946. Clarice was very active in high school activities and most proud to have been the drum majorette for the high school marching band earning her a high school letter for her sweater. After high school Clarice ventured off to the big city of Minneapolis to work at Lloyds of London Insurance Underwriters. Clarice was married in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Merlin Wendland in 1951 and later became the best Mother to her two children, Howard and Sharon. She worked for many years for the Ladish Company in Cudahy but spent most of her working career in the Cudahy Public Schools where she held various positions including administrator in the Business Office and Secretary to the Principal of the junior high school.

Merle E. Erickson age, 96, of Fountain City and formerly of Arcadia, WI died Thursday April 27, 2017, at St. Michael’s Assisted Living in Fountain City, WI.

Friends may call from 10;00 AM until 12:00 PM Tuesday May 2, 2017, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia, WI. A private burial will take place later. Online condolences may be sent to Wozney-Killian Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Edward L. Vetrone, 63, of Alma Center, passed away suddenly at his home on April 11, 2017.

Edward Lee Vetrone, son of William and Vivian Vetrone, was born May 17, 1953 in Wisconsin Rapids. On May 29, 1971, he graduated from Neillsville High School. Growing up Ed helped with his father’s milk route, and for 3 years after graduating he worked with Gary Ruzic Construction out of Neillsville.
He married Cathy Schofield and to this union they had two daughters, Rebecca and Melissa. Ed later married Lori Riemer in 1986 in West Allis, and together they had their son Andrew.
Ed worked 13 years for Gerald Nell, INC, a general contractor in Brookfield. From 1993 to 1997, he worked for F.E. Concrete Inc. also of Brookfield. He then worked for Badger State Walls/Stigler Construction of Watertown.
He eventually returned to Alma Center, where he worked with his family at V-Trone Auto Service in Fairchild.
