Monica A. Sobota, age 99, of Arcadia, WI died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Bethany Riverside in La Crosse, WI

Monica was born on January 28, 1918, to John F. and Francis (Berzinski) Brom in Pine Creek.
Monica supported the war effort working at the ammunition plants in Baraboo and Eau Claire. She returned home to marry Dominic J. Sobota on May 30, 1949, at Sacred Heart Church in Pine Creek, WI Her married life was spent working alongside her husband and raising her children on the family farm in Glencoe. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, playing cards and entertaining and visiting family and friends. She was active in the Church, homemakers, Glencoe Senior Citizens, card clubs and going to her grandchildren’s events. Her time at Bethany Riverside allowed her to continue an active social life through the activities provided by Bethany Riverside.
Monica is survived by her children; Jack, Neale, and Anne (Bruce) Cornish all of Arcadia, WI; 3 grandchildren, Jackie Engel of Fountain City, WI, Wendy (Jeff) McCoy of Holmen, WI and Becky Sobota of Durand, WI; 2 great grandchildren, Jackson and Tyrus McCoy; one brother, Conrad Brom of Winona, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Norma L. Sandsnes, age 99, passed away on May 18, 2017, at Bethel Nursing Home in Viroqua, WI.

A memorial service for Norma will be held June 2, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cashton. Burial will follow in the Moen Cemetery, Cashton, on the Sandsnes family plot. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred for Cashton Trinity Lutheran Church or the Bethel Home in Viroqua. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Cashton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lucille Oninski, 90, of Black River Falls, died Monday, May 29, 2017 at Pine View Care Center.

Lynda Lou Cheryl (Anderson) Relyea Bremmer, 71, of Melbourne, FL passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at her home, surrounded by love.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Gladys (Hanson) Anderson, and her sister, Sharon Anderson Boyd.
She is survived by her four children: Adam Relyea (Lisa Reveron) of Eau Claire, Brittney Trask (Eddie Rickenbach) of Indialantic, FL, Ashlee Masterson (Chuck Masterson) of Cocoa Beach, FL, and Dustin Bremmer (Bernadette Bezy) of Nevada City,CA; her five grandchildren: Delaini Trask, Noah Trask, James Relyea, Delilah Bremmer and Oliver Bremmer; and her five siblings: Bonnie (Jerry) Lau of Onalaska, Richard (Sharon) Anderson of Melrose, Jeanine Rondone of Menomonee Falls, Terry “Mike” Anderson of Milwaukee and Patricia (Alois) Strigens of Menomonee Falls, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lynda was born Dec. 30, 1945, in Black River Falls. She later moved to Eau Claire where she grew her family and became a hairstylist.

Brian L. Fisher, 56, of Tomah died suddenly on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church 310 W Elizabeth St. Tomah. Pastor David Dahl and Scott Mann will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
